Food, Diet, Exercise
Mar. 22nd, 2011 02:51 pmHello there. I am looking for any fic that has food, diet, and/or exercise as the theme. Simple, right?
Here's what I've got so far:
commutative property by
crimsonclad (eating disorder)
An Eating of the Minds by boilerbmw (eating disorder)
How Not to Cope by
kriadydragon (eating disorder)
Little Things by
sgamadison (dieting and exercise)
It's Growing Day by Day by Telesilla (exercise -walking thousands of miles)
Most of ^those are diet/eating disorder related, but I know there's got to be more out there that deal with exercise and getting in shape - maybe training programs or obstacle courses for the scientists and marines?
Any characters, pairings, and rating is acceptable, as long as it deals with food/diet/exercise.
Thank you!

food, but not exercise is mentioned, but it's not the focus of the fic.
The same with....

Both are beautifully written.

And Untitled Belly!Love, John/Rodney (http://community.livejournal.com/sga_kinkmeme/3923.html?thread=657747#t657747) has Rodney embarrassed by his soft stomach, but John is wildly turned on by it, and by feeding Rodney.

Date: 2011-03-23 03:24 am (UTC)Oh my goodness... Food in fic -- it's a guilty pleasure of mine -- possibly even an obsession since I've tagged my bookmarks for it, too. :D
Note: As far as I know these are all pretty much food-centric, which means there may be not so much emphasis on the diets or exercising, which could also mean that if we were able to gain weight just by reading about other people eating food, well...a lot of weight would be put on. ;)

Re: Food-centric -- Part 2
Date: 2011-03-23 04:05 am (UTC)I've got more in my bookmarks (http://www.delicious.com/Belas/fandom:SGA+food%2Fbaked_goods), but I couldn't remember clearly how important the food aspect of it was, so... *shrugs* What's listed above is not even half of what I've got tagged, but I know some of them were tagged because I enjoyed the scenes involving the food items, not necessarily because the whole story revolved around whichever food item. :D
And, oooh!! Those 2 aren't on my list. *marks down to read later, after sleep* Although, I'm pretty sure I haven't read "Romance at the Roadkill Grill" & how I managed to miss
Re: Food-centric -- Part 2
Date: 2011-03-23 04:11 am (UTC)I liked lamardeuse's story a lot, hope you enjoy it too. And for completeness's (of your tags) sake which we know is very very important, you may want to check out the ones I mentioned here (http://community.livejournal.com/sgagenrefinders/834828.html?thread=6488588#t6488588) ;)

Date: 2011-03-23 04:54 pm (UTC)Hee! Those were actually victims of my read-on-the-run tendency - bookmarking to Delicious via Kindle not being something I've ever tried to explore. Thank you for pointing me towards them again! *marks down for re-read session later today*
