Hi all!! I have a request for all you lovely and amazing people. It's just that, I"m in the mood for stories where the military on Atlantis takes care of their scientists in ways that makes the people from Earth raises their arrogant eyebrows at. You know, just stories where John protects Rodney from others; Lorne defending Parrish or Zelenka or any geek from anyone. Also where the newbies from Earth thinks they know all and try to force their way between the geeks and what they do, claiming they don't know anything or whatnot. So yeah, just stories of the scientist being protected, defended, and/or coddled by the/ir grunts.

P.S: John/Rodney pairing, if possible. Thanks in advance!!!

A new marine thinks he knows better than Rodney (about whether he should be allowed in the labs and how he treats certain scientists there) and after Rodney slugs him, John and Lorne continue setting him right in [livejournal.com profile] shaenie's Indelible (http://archiveofourown.org/works/120496?view_full_work=true). ~128,300 words, McShep.

John also makes it clear to new marines that they should protect the scientists (before yielding the floor to Rodney) in [livejournal.com profile] copperbadge's Angles Thus and So (http://sam-storyteller.dreamwidth.org/150696.html). Elizabeth likes to watch, Radek wishes he'd brought popcorn. ~39,200 words, Elizabeth/Rodney plus eventual McShep.

Um, the marines are protecting (even assimilating) their scientists' values in Thank you for flying Church of England (http://community.livejournal.com/sga_flashfic/588316.html) by [livejournal.com profile] someinstant (see footnote 6)...

And John defends Rodney's strength to one marine and there are explanatory powerpoint presentions for newbie marines in [livejournal.com profile] crimsonclad's Marines to the Rescue!/Mission Accomplished (http://crimsonclad.livejournal.com/tag/mission%20accomplished!) series, but the marines are protecting John more than Rodney in it... (unrequited McShep cracktasticness)
