Ronon Working With Non-Military

Yep, I'm back again.

This time I'm looking for any stories that have Ronon working closely with anyone non-military (excluding Teyla, 'cause well, they're on the same team). I read 'My Home and Native Land' by Sam_Storyteller (on Dreamwidth) which dealt with Ronon working with Chuck (the Gate Tech). And now I want to read more like it.

You haven't mentioned anything about liking/disliking Ronon's activities with Rodney. So if you don't mind the pairing there's couple of classic, Rodney/Ronon fics that recced very often, with them doing different stuff.

Thanks. I'll check them out. I know I've read one or two of them already. I was kind of looking for people other than the Team (like Chuck the Gate Tech, or someone from Weir's diplomatic entourage, or Zelenka).

But I will definitely check out the ones you've recc'ed here.

Ronon works with the science department (he studied entomology) in Theory of Allopatry (http://toomuchplor.wordpress.com/fic/theory-of-allopatry) by toomuchplor McShep, AU-Atlantis (John's a biologist), ~1600 words.

The Ronon/Miko one jya_bd_cp_ttgb refers to higher up may be helenish's This Gun's For Hire (http://helenish.talkoncorners.net/gun.html). His courtship of her is very funny. McShep and other pairings, ~13,100 words.

There are of course a bunch more Earthside-AUs where Ronon works with John or Rodney without being military but I'll only mention one: Ronon works closely with Rodney (as his therapist) in the excellent A Hundred Happy Things (http://archiveofourown.org/series/2825) by busaikko. The Nihongo series (all linked within what seems to be the last part here (http://community.livejournal.com/sga_flashfic/666628.html)) is Ronon and Miko, though I don't recall offhand if it's friendship or relationship. (ETA: The series is mostly Miko-centric, with mentions of unrealized Miko/Grodin UST; Ronon's only part is "Osahi", and it can be read in sequence or alone.)
