Getting used to Woolsey

 I was re-watching my DVDs of season 5 and remembering how thrown off I was when I first heard the spoilers that Woolsey would become the new commander of Atlantis.  I (of course) didn't like him at all through SG1 and his few spots in Atlantis and thought he would be a horrible fit, but he totally grew on me and now I love him!  

So, I was wondering if there were any fics that dealt with the Atlantis expedition getting used to Woolsey and accepting him as their leader. Like they don't like him at first, but then he proves himself through bad-assery or because of his skills and they all begin to think he's pretty cool. Or someone insults him and the Team rallies their support to defend him or something.

TL;DR, basically I'm just looking for some Woolsey appreciation be it in long action fics or short character pieces. :)

I'm so glad you made this request! I <3 Woolsey! Though I did enjoy him on SG1 and his occasional trip to Pegasus before 5 too. In my opinion, he's the best leader they've had. He makes the most sense to me. Sam made sense but unfortunately they didn't give her ANYTHING to do, so I didn't get to appreciate Leader Sam. And Elizabeth was at times too soft for my taste.

yay! He's my favorite leader too! :D I LOVE Sam, but it made me sad to think of her away from SG1, and I found Elizabeth a tad too grating at times.
