John/Rodney Growing Up Together? (slash)

Are there any stories where John and Rodney grow up together as adolescents, or teens? They could hate each other's guts, be rivals, or be best friends, it's all good. Whatever pairings there are, if it ends in John/Rodney that would be awesome.

ETA: I'd really prefer slash. I know the request might lean more towards gen, but I'm looking for stories that follow them into adulthood, and include sex (or at least references to it), etc. So, please, no gen, or het. Thanks.

Hm, no High School Heroes rec yet?

Scroll way down on the list of SardonicSmiley's fic (http://smiley.zonezine.net/) to the High School Heroes series; it's an AU fusion with the film Sky High, so the characters all have superpowers. There's quite a bit of whump, particularly Rodney!whump, so be aware of that, I guess. It's hundreds of thousands of words of John and Rodney (and friends) as teens. For a lot of it, it's pre-slash, but slash is always in the cards; they get there!
