 hi,

i'm looking for two:

1) Sheppard outranking his father and rubbing it in his face (or someone else is making it clear)

2) McShep stories where they have sex, something goes wrong (eg pulled stiches, muscles etc) and the have to see Beckett (or Keller) with it?

1) His father is neither military nor alive. Even going by the pre-season 4 fanon based on the casting call that claimed he was a general, it wouldn't work, because John still wouldn't outrank him.

You should watch it. Outcast is a good episode and it gives some great insight into John's background. We learn about his father, his brother, and his ex-wife.

While John does not outrank his father. He's a light bird rather than a full colonel like his retired father.
However, his father becomes very aware that his son has done well. And John has the potential to rank higher by the time he retires.

Nice thing about FanFICTION is that you can do what you like, regardless of cannon.

um, er, for 2, this one's possibly scary/scarring, but you asked: Ways to Ruin Your Sex Life (http://www.caffiends.net/viewstory.php?sid=468) by Tzigane and Zaganthi. ~16,000 words on how it went really, really wrong. Also contains strong BDSM.

Then there's PSA (http://crimsonclad.livejournal.com/124250.html) by crimsonclad. Bad John means Rodney has to go see Keller...

There was a bad sex challenge (http://community.livejournal.com/sga_flashfic/tag/challenge%3A%20bad%20sex) over at sga_flashfic at one point which generated some fine/painful McShep examples if you poke around, but I could swear there was also an individual writer who did a short series of McShep sex-gone-wrong ficlets. After much wracking of the brains & help (http://community.livejournal.com/sgastoryfinders/3167421.html) from doomsdaybrnete, there's "A Sticky Situation" (http://archiveofourown.org/works/134563) by springwoof, wherein the Pegasus Galaxy byproducts conspire to change the normal properties of bodily fluids.

If you count the fact that the embarassing sex injuries come from Rodney's sex-marathons with Keller & that she's the one that fixes Rodney up after, then there's "Waiting For My Real Life To Begin" (http://toomuchplor.wordpress.com/fic/waiting-for-my-real-life-to-begin/) by toomuchplor -- it ends up McShep Pairing, thus I didn't think you'd mind so much the fact that it wasn't John & Rodney's sexcapades that caused the embarassing injuries; although there is implication in there that John had suffered something of what Rodney was going through, so there was some empathizing going on at the time. :D
