I have three different requests here, lumped together for easy reference. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
1. Sheppard Appreciation: Stories that echo and expand the sense that the expedition has only survived so long because of John. Not hero worship precisely -- although if it's founded hero worship, that would probaby suit. I'm thinking more along the lines of people being stronger or braver in tough situations because they know John has their back, and that fact being acknowledged. People defending and advocating him to those who are critical or derisive. People going to great lengths to save him not because he's their military commander, but because he's John and they know he'd do the same. People simply recognizing how important he is/will be.
2. We Didn't Know: Atlantis woke the Wraith. As far as I remember, though, in canon there's nothing to indicate the Pegasus natives knew about the Keeper and her role -- they could have awakened the Wraith just as easily. Are there any fics where this is addressed?
3. I've Had It Up To Here: I found myself wishing Atlantis would tell the coalition where to shove it during the trial in season five. Any fics out there that do the same? It doesn't necessarily have to be an Inquisition AU (although that would be awesome) but something where the expedition gets fed up with their reception in Pegasus and cease all (or many) or their offworld projects. Preferably, of course, with the subsequent realization that -- whatever mistakes they've made -- Atlantis has been doing their best to make up for it and to improve the quality of life of those they meet.
Gen or at least stories that have the same 'feel' or the canon episodes preferred, please. And many thanks in advance.
