Hey there,

are there any fics where the guys kidnap Atlantis to take it back to Pegasus? Something like pir8fanciers "Damned if You Do, Damned if You Don't" , only that they steal Atlantis, too?
Or stories where they really have to plot to get the city back by bribing or blackmailing someone?
Or where Atlantis ends up declaring its indepencence (like Speranzas "Written by the Victors", but post EatG)?
I prefer slash (McShep), but in this case, I'd also read Gen and het, as long as it's plotty and has great team interaction.

Help appreciated...

My series "Colony Atlantis" has both.

http://www.enolasream.com/atlantis.htm scan down and it's the second AU on the page.

This one -- Ultimate Mission (http://www.enolasrealm.com/ultimatemission.htm) -- is the one where they actually return.

Thank you! I hope you enjoy it!

There's a typo in the link you provided; I think you left out the 'L' in 'realm.' The 'Ultimate Mission' link works, and I found the main site from there (which I'm enjoying a lot, BTW), but you might want to fix this.

The Surly Bonds of Earth (http://mad-maudlin.dreamwidth.org/77348.html) by mad-maudlin. PG-13, gen, canon pairings, post-EATG. The Team is trying to get Atlantis back to Pegasus.

No Light and Transient Cause (http://sheafrotherdon.dreamwidth.org/252291.html) by [livejournal.com profile] sheafrotherdon. John/Rodney, R. They're trying to get independence from Earth.

Where to Start Over and How to Begin (http://community.livejournal.com/sga_santa/312536.html) by [livejournal.com profile] lilyfarfalla. John/Rodney, PG-13. Teyla is really devious in her plans of bringing Atlantis back to Pegasus.

Strongly second these -- they're the exact ones in my mental file for this request/what I would've pointed at if jane hadn't already. :)

Hee, I love all three of these (I enjoyed some of the ones lower down too, though those're not all set post-series) and am seekritly especially pleased you liked [livejournal.com profile] lilyfarfalla's story \o/

If I may do a bit of self-promoting, I recently wrote a story for [livejournal.com profile] sga_flashfic's J. Flan Twitter Challenge:

Like some of [livejournal.com profile] doomsdaybrnete's recs, this story isn't set post-Enemy at the Gate, but worth reading if you'd like a futurefic that (eventually) deals with Atlantis becoming independent. Very plotty, long, teamy, also SG-1 (though heads-up, some characters are not uniformly sympathetic): [livejournal.com profile] auburnnothenna's The Water Grinds the Stone (http://sgabigbang.talkoncorners.net/?view=fic&id=18), McShep and other pairings, ~242,700 words, plus coda (http://auburn.dreamwidth.org/275526.html).

The link to the main page as I provided won't work!

This one will.
