Hi, I thought I saw this once before, but I can't find it again...  I was looking for any fic that was downloadable to my Nook.   I don't know where to begin to look.  Can anyone reccomend any that they know of?   The only one I have seen so far through my bookmarks is Keira Marcos, and I've read them all a few times already. Thank you!!

I also don't know how to tag this request, sorry for not tagging

since the Nook will from reports I've read - find and read books/documents in the following formats:

plain text
PDF
epub
ereader

you can download/convert virtually any fanfic you desire to a format usable on your Nook

I do this for my Kindle - although I generally convert the fanfic to mobipocket format

you might want to check into calibre E-book management software - it allows for conversions from and to different formats

also AO3 offers easy download of fanfic in different formats i.e. html, epub, mobi, etc.

Wow, I had *just* bookmarked this site last night, and happened to open my flist just now, how funny! This fantastic place is organized by fandom, author, and many other categories, with quite a large selection of ebooks! They always obtain author permission, which is great: http://amalthia.mediawood.net/ebooks/index.php I'm pretty sure there are other sites as well, but this is the one I know of.

[modly reminder]

Apart from the AO3 you could check out the Ebook Library (http://amalthia.mediawood.net/ebooks/index.php) of the [livejournal.com profile] fanfic_ebooks community.

If you want to put them together from LiveJournal or Dreamwidth entries, there's Image (http://lithiumdoll.dreamwidth.org/profile)lithiumdoll (http://lithiumdoll.dreamwidth.org/)'s Squee!Book (http://www.halcyon-shift.net/gift-shop/squeebook/), which will save into HTML, TXT, PDF, RTF, FB2, and EPUB files.

There's also a utility which concatenates the chapters and converts any story from ff.net to a single file in a specified format - one of which is ePub.
It's here: http://flag.erayd.net/
You just enter the story id number (it's in the address of each story).

Archive of Our Own (http://archiveofourown.org/media) is set up so you can download stories in several different formats.

I use this quite often for shorter stories. I'm hoping more LJ authors host their fics there.

That's Archive of our Own at http://archiveofourown.org/media

If you have Microsoft Word 2010, you have the option of downloading PDF add on to move word documents over to PDF. I used to work at Barnes & Noble and your Nook can take PDF files as well as EPUB files.

Hope that helps....
