I was wondering if there are any fics (McShep preferably) that showcase Rodney speaking a different language. It can be anything from something like french (he's canadian after all) or some alien dialect. Maybe the other's are surprised by it. Maybe it saves their asses on a mission. Anything would be awesome :D

"Keira Marcos" (http://keiramarcos.com/stargate-atlantis-fan-fiction/) is good at that. Her series What Might Have Been and Ties That Bind both make mention of McKay speaking more than just English (it's implied in both that he can speak Czech and in one that he also speaks Japanese.) Warning: Ties That Bind has a lot of BDSM elements. Both series are McShep.
