I just finished this amazing story where Rodney was the ancient god Pan, and now im wondering if there are any other these type stories out there? Where Rodney is a deity of some sort, or at least extremely powerful, or god-like? Ive already looked over Ratcreatures Ancient/Ori list, so nothing from there please. If possible, i'd like something still set in the SGA/SGC universe. an AU, but not completely different universe if you will.

Rodney is not a deity but an extremely powerful magic-user in Calling Down the Lightning (http://sgabigbang.talkoncorners.net/?view=fic&id=86) by dreamwaffles. McShep, ~55,500 words, AU with SGC/Atlantis and magic use (which is forbidden on Earth).

Unfortunately not just what you're looking for (though the story you mention above is on the list), but Rodney does have godlike sexual powers/skillz in most of the stories on my Rodney McKay, CSO of Atlantis: Sex God (http://skaredykat.livejournal.com/3751.html) themed list... ;)

Do you think ones where Rodney has ascended and got power/skilz would count? There must be a few of them about? And you will have an appropriate list/resource to bring to the party/table? (I seem addicted to / and slash!)

Hmmm, ratcreature's list (http://www.ratcreature.net/fannish_stuff/sga_thematiclist_ancientjohn.php) is all John is ascended/Ancient/Ori/powers-y; I don't think a Rodney-powers list exists. Yet... (Maybe someone who sees this will be inspired to make one...?)

There's a story or series where Rodney is an ancient who never ascended - he discovered the secret of immortality instead, but the ascended ancients watch him anyway and won't let him give away secrets. Having said that, I have no idea who wrote it, but maybe this reminder will prompt someone else's memory.
