Rodney is a genius. This is indisputable. So can anyone rec me some McShep first time stories where he actually is a genius instead of clueless and oblivious? I want me some brilliant Rodney. I'm just aching to read Rodney all hilariously crafty and genius-y with his crazed plans (involving Rube Goldberg devices at the very least) to snare oblivious!John.

If this kidn of thing happens to you check it through the Way Back Machine (http://www.archive.org/web/web.php). An outdated url, a malfunctioning url, whatever, whether it's temporarily out of service or permanently, chances are WBM has cached it. I'm not really sure if this is what you were going for, because it sounds like you wanted Genius Rodney as far as planning and wooing and obtaining John, but this is Genius Rodney as in "My IQ is so high people cannot fic me properly unless their IQ matches mine or they have mad research skills" genius.

Or, just, ya know, read it anyway, because it is hands down the hottest blow job I've ever read.
