SGU

I was just wondering, are there any crossovers with SGU? There must be some place. Or some fic that brings in SG-1/SGA and SGU.

Bonus points for McShep, though I'm fine with other ships (that one of them aren't in) and gen/friendship stuff.

ETA: There's no SGU tag like there is a SG-1 tag, or else I'd have used that one.

The first 2 or three of the series are really about life after they have to leave Atlantis. After that It is about some of the old crew getting together to chase after the SGU ship with a ship of their own. So sort of a crossover, sort of not. Also it is a McShep.

Ooooooo, I saw one of those stories before and it got me completely confused about WTF is going on. Now I know. Like the not so subtle jibes at SGU as a TV show lol. Shame there isn't more of it.

You're in luck. auburnnothenna just wrote an SGA/SGU fusion which is completely amazing and John/Rodney to boot. Sounds like an interesting fic. Thanks for the detailed warnings, and it sounds like something I could handle well enough as it isn't an entire story full of that always happening (by the sounds of it) and has what seems to be a good plot that those things are woven into.

ETA: That was fantastic! I was ready for it to be a lot more graphic even with the details on the spoilers in the rec. Very good fic, so extra thanks for the link. Lorne.... oh Lorne, I guess they needed somebody in that role and he fit best. I'd agree it's a happy ending in a slightly twisted way.
