SG1 Rodney stories & Just SG1 stories
Oct. 16th, 2007 05:55 pmSo sorry but this is a couple requests in one.
1) I'm looking for SG1 Rodney stories - it doesn't matter if it's pre-Atlantis or during SGA, I just am in the mood for really good SG1 & Rodney stories. Extra points for great slash stories set when SGA is on Earth. He can be slashed w/anybody. I'm easy. (oh, I'm such a slash addict)
2) SG1/SGA crossover stories - the last time this was asked, almost a year ago, there was not that many responses but I'm a sucker for SG-1 on Atlantis like Retrograde. I adore when the teams mix.
3) And along the lines of request 2, does anyone know any great AUs that mix the 2 teams? I loved There's No Such Thing as Daniel Jackson by eleveninches and am seeking other great AUs along this lines.
All of the above would be better slashed but gen is good too. Thank you, thank you, virtual power bars, coffee, and chocolate to the finders.
PS - Is there a SG1 storyfinder or genrefinders like this? I can't find it under interest search in lj. Thank you kindly.

Date: 2007-10-16 10:53 pm (UTC)sumfink sumfinkMeet (http://thingology.org/01100100/fanfiction/sga/five/5ways.html) project/AU serial). The finished stories also available on her website (http://thingology.org/01100100/) here (http://thingology.org/01100100/fanfiction/sga/five/au1/blank.html). (Series now also has it's own commSG-15, aka 'The Team They Didn't Want You to See' is one of those teams only a crackerhead could appreciate; a leader who's a homocidial lunatic (straight *cough*cough* from a couple of cameos on Stargate SG-1), an airforce major no superior wants under him (Rodney doesn't mind this, truly), a know-it-all whiny scientist barely tolerated by anyone and escaping Siberia only by agreeing to join the team (John likes to think he's played a part in this; if he weren't so utterly gay, Rodney would've set him straight a long time ago), and an alien with a symbiot inside him (Colonel Dave isn't prejudiced about either of these facts; about everything else, on the other hand...) who tends to angst over his failed relationship with an alien uberlord -- who would think that stashing granades with your unmentionable could become so darn useful? As the team of misfits battles aliens, fights to save the SG-1 and Atlantis, it becomes apparent that a little insanity goes a long way. (A lot makes for the team running for their lives from their own leader, but that's a story in itself.)
In short: should definitely be read even by non-SG-1 fans (if I could do/love it, you can too!), and I had too much fun writing this up and pulling vague memories from a hat, so facts may difer from
realityfiction. Just so you know. Also, I just realized - the biggest SG-1/SGA fusion is definitely
#1 - I'll do a search for Rodney/SG-1 personnel fics later; there was a search posted already here, I think, on this topic (heck, I could've done it, or provided a lot of the links; I love the theme bunches too) so it's just the matter of tracking it down. But not tonight.

Date: 2007-10-24 08:58 pm (UTC)As an extra, a couple of applicable threesome tags which I've just noticed, and are luring me in by the minute: - McKay/Carter/Quinn (http://del.icio.us/ultimateficarchiver/mckay/carter/quinn) and McKay/O'Neill/Jackson (http://del.icio.us/ultimateficarchiver/mckay/oneill/jackson). I can't believe I hadn't checked these out before. ...Oh darn.
