Alien Rituals

Hi, guys, :)

I need your help again, since you guys in this community have always been irreplaceable in finding stories and recs.

Now, in almost every Stargate episode, be it SG1 or Atlantis, and consequently, in almost every fanfic, it's our guys who are expected to conform to the aliens' rituals and customs. Isn't there a fanfic where the aliens who, say, want the protection of the Lanteans are for one those who conform?

A fanfic where someone gets fed up and just says, "No, you know what, how about for once you people respect our customs?"

With the variety of stories in our fandom, if there are any such stories, they'd be here. So please, if any such stories come to mind, rec them?

Teamfics and McShep always preferred, but really, I couldn't care less about the pairings and genres. Heck, I'd even say don't hesitate to rec SG1 stories, but for the fact this is an SGA community.

The boys claim their culture (read 'monogamy') doesn't let them to participate in sexual alien ritual (read 'gang rape') but the alien priests jump to their case and suggest to perform the ritual celebrating their monogamous relationship.
Solitary (http://esteefee.livejournal.com/26953.html) by esteefee, R, John/Rodney, while doesn't focus on the alien customs themselves, has an interesting twist in the form of cultural misunderstanding (or rather, bad rumours about neighbours).

The Saints of Atlantis by steamfan has the Boondock Saints killing a man who tries to abduct and rape Elizabeth as well as all the other members of the society who abducted, raped, and abused their wives. However the Saints are permitted to do this because they are the descendants of Ancients with the ability to detect evil.
