Sheppard/Mitchell First-time fics...

I am in the mood for some Cam/John first-time fics. I prefer longer fics and NC-17 or R rating(but i will take anything.)
 
I've read some fics  for this pairing such as:
Red Ribbon 'verse,
Hold On, Here We Go by Bluflamingo,
Quality of Memory by dossier,
The Measure of Your Touch by skieswideopen,
What Happens Next 'Verse by Bluflamingo & Dossier,
This Delicate Thing We've Made by race_the_ace,
Discontinuity by slybrarian

But this pairing is a little hard to find, so give me any recs you can think of and squicks are okay other than death!fic.

busaikko wrote an excellent Mitchell/Sheppard a few months ago. Spans S3's The Return to post-series, MtF!Sheppard, strong Sheppard & McKay friendship, ~27,500 words. I read that one, forgot to put it up there, but it was a really good fic. MtF!Sheppard is an interesting plotline to read in SGA fics. Thanks for the rec though;-)

You may want to check out Sheppard/Mitchell Crossroads index, which is nearly identical to my list, but sorts the fic by handy tags like "first time."

You've already hit most of the main authors who write John/Cam regularly: bluflamingo, scrollgirl, and slybrarian (well, and me), but there are lots of others who have written one or two stories.

For specific first time recs...

Steal the Thunder from the Sky by minervacat - Cam invites John to tag along with SG1 to a basketball tournament. (You may want to check out the mostly-gen prequel first.)

Sports as a Metaphor by etain_anders - John and Cam get together during "The Return."

Lines in the Dark by bluflamingo - AU where John joins SG1.

Last One Out of the Circus by tesserae_ - Cam visits Atlantis and touches something he shouldn't.

And the first John/Cam Big Bang, Never As Bad As Anticipated (Until It Is) by bluflamingo - Cam is sent to take charge of Atlantis instead of Sam.

(There have been other John/Cam Big Bangs since, so you may want to explore that website.)

Hello, I am not sure whether anyone is even going to see this but I have been trying to find tesserae's fanfiction but the author seems to have taken down all their stories. If anyone has a copy of the John/Cam fics I'd be positively extatic bc they were great. Many thanks.

Hey! I think most of her stuff is up on AO3. If you can't find something there, try her Dreamwidth. I can't remember if she cross-posted, but she may have.

It's nice to see people still reading John/Cam. :)

Thank you so much! I had no idea she had ao3. On her dreamwidth is only a comment fic with John/Cam. This is great. The other author I am looking for is Cottontail. Particularly the fic Back in time. There's a wraithbait account with all the Mcshep fic of that author (knowledge obtained thanks to crossroads) but not the Cam/John ones. I hope it's not too greedy to ask for more when I already owe you virtual cookies. I just really like the pairing. I know it's kinda unrealistic that they'd be tohether in canon but when has that stopped fannon? ;)

I'm sorry, I don't have a copy of that one and I have no idea where to find it. I'll keep my eye open and let you know if I find it.

I don't really think they're more unrealistic than most fandom pairings, apart from the whole "different galaxies" thing. ;)

Thanks for having a look. Some good fics are unfortunately just gone I guess... Well, I was kinda referring to the whole different galaxies thing. Apart from the fact that that would make an epic long distance relationship I think Cam is maybe a bit too pramatic to risk both their careers that way. Even if they'd end up in bed he probably wouldn't let it develop into something more. But then on the other hand the existence of the quantum mirror and the whole idea of canon alternate universes makes anything justifiable I guess ;)
