I'm looking for stories where Rodney does the suicide run, particularly any where he turns John's words back on him.

I've read Sardonic Smiley's '3 times Rodney had a Superpower and one time he was just a hero' and I know Lavvyan wrote one where Rodney is trying to mentally outrun the Atlantis AI as he uses the chair but I'd love to read more.

It does not echo the words but it involves Rodney doing something suicidal to save the city when the Daedulus rammed into it. He faked his death on the sensors. it ends up he gets saved by Sam the whale.It's called Ishmael by lavvyan on wraithbait.
