I've just watched "Childhood's End" and i always love watching the bits with McKay and the children.

It's now put me in the mood to read stories where the team are off world and Rodney attracts all the children.

And there's 'Running on Empty' by Sholia (aka Friendshipper). Focus is on Sheppard and McKay, separated and on the run from Wraith, but McKay ends up like the Pied Piper with a bunch of orphaned children he has to protect while trying to get all of them off the planet.
