I've a short laundry-list of requests....

Request Part 1 -- Favorite Remixes:

I'm looking for your favorite Remixes - you know... the ones that are just as good as the original story, if not better for the added change-in-view. I'm not looking for any particular pairing; although, I am partial to McShep pairing or gen!fic -- please, label pairings where applicable.

Request Part 2 -- Storytelling / Oral Traditions:

I'm looking for stories that show how the Pegasus Galaxy remembers the people that are still living & those that have been eradicated by the Wraith. I'm not looking for any pairings in particular, but if there are pairings, please label where necessary.

***Addendum: Any stories that have one of the characters telling a story to active listeners -- the stories that become or can become legend, whether involving Pegasus Galaxy natives or those in Atlantis.***

The stories I've read that illustrate this:

"Children of Lantean Design" by Xela -- In Pegasus Galaxy, they have a Memory Keeper, whose job it is to remember all the stories, history, etc. that people share with him or her so that they will not be forgotten. *this is admittedly just a small part of the story, as it's a BigBang story* (McShep pairing)

"The Storyteller" by

seperis -- Pegasus Galaxy has a people that are able to "share" memories as a means of storytelling / sharing histories of those who may have been lost to the ravages of the Wraith. (No pairing)

"Speaker of the Dead" by

mrshamill -- Not so much on the storytelling, but definitely an oral tradition is exhibited, where the Athosians have one person that calls the roll of all who are dead & makes sure that the list is kept current during their yearly rite. (Basically Gen, but was McShep pairing - Warnings for Main Character Deaths)
