1) John getting injured in the Chair. Either due to a backlash, somehow the Chair poisons him, he merges too deep, passes out because he used it for too long etc . . .

2) Someone that John knows (a family member, someone who served with him earlier in his career, like a former CO/comrade, etc. . .) comes to Atlantis and see how he is handling the position he is in and are shocked, amazed, proud because they always knew he would be great. etc. Just their general reactions to the team, and Sheppard's place in the city, also everyone else's views of that person would be awesome as well.

Stories where everyone is IC, only please.

"Indelible" (http://shaenie.livejournal.com/332275.html) by shaenie -- the connection w/Atlantis & chair is so deep that he / they can feel actual hits when in a fire-fight...also I seem to recall some severe exhaustion as well.

"The Slow Slide of Indifference" (http://www.wraithbait.com/viewstory.php?sid=10690) & its WIP sequel "An Uncomplicated Choice" (http://www.wraithbait.com/viewstory.php?sid=14243) by ladyholder -- ended up having to post several relief pilots in the Chair while flying Atlantis because the demands on John's body were detrimental to the point of a nice stay with Carson afterwards & I even think at one point that they had to set up I.V.'s on John when he was flying as well as other health-monitoring equipment.
