Rare Pairing: Sumner/Weir; Rare Character: Sumner

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting a request here.

I recently had the pleasure of reading One to Let Go by smittywing. It's a Pre-Rising, Sumner/Weir story. 

I'm wondering if there are any other Sumner/Weir stories out there? Romantic or friendship doesn't really matter. It's just that Sumner was such a great character (surprisingly developed considering he got killed in the first ep) and I'd love to read more stories about him.

And if you can't find Sumner/Weir I'll gladly take just a Sumner story, though I'm sure those are more difficult.

Any helpful lists and as well as story links would be great!

I'm not sure how much Sumner/Elizabeth is *exactly* in the story I'm about to rec, as I just ran across it and haven't had time to all of the parts there are --it's a !WIP!-- but the summary looked promising:

Lol, there aren't a lot of stories with Sumner in them so even just a little bit is great. Thanks for the link, I'm off to read it now.

That's no problem. I'm not used to using tags other than my own twisted kind of organization. Thanks for cleaning them - at least normal rational people will be able to understand it!

_{Glad you're not inclined to chew my head off over the tags. :-) I'm a zealous over-tagger myself, but I tell myself I've made a system that works, so I should really stick to using it, as there might be one person other than me out there who can see the logic. I repeat this to myself often; rivers in Egypt and all that. ;-)}

Now that you mentioned it, there really is a shortage of Sumner fics; I know elevinches has an AU (or two?) in which he's alive, but not a major character. Crossroads yielded nothing, but Wraithbait spit forth some at least interesting-seeming Sumner-related fics. Unfortunately searches don't give out perma-links, so if you want to follow in my net-steps, as it were, type Sumner into the Summary searchbox here (http://www.wraithbait.com/search.php). It's not that I'm too lazy to rec 'em one by one, I just try not to rec stories I have no clue whatsoever about.

Speaking of, a peruse of ultimateficarchiver's del.icio.us account (http://del.icio.us/ultimateficarchiver/) spit up Kavanagh/Sumner (http://del.icio.us/ultimateficarchiver/kavanagh/sumner) and a Bates/Sumner (http://del.icio.us/ultimateficarchiver/bates/sumner) fic. The latter is an awesome story and if you want a good (gay! *g*) Sumner, you'll find him in spades there (yeesh, what an awful pun; bad Debris, bad!), but I haven't read the former.

And concludes my reccing of stories I really should read before mentioning for today. Er. Hopefully. :-)
(P.S. If you know any other good Sumner fics other than Smittywings, I'd love to know about them.)
