[identity profile] shibela.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] sgarecfinders

I'm looking for stories that either center around one particular game similar to "Do Not Pass Go" by [livejournal.com profile] danceswithgary  (McShep pairing), center around the playing of a variety or many games like in "Board Wars" by [livejournal.com profile] jadesfire2808  & [livejournal.com profile] greyias  (No pairings), or include the playing of games in the form of sports as in "The Towers On the Heights Reach To Heav'n's Own Blue" by [livejournal.com profile] minervacat  (Gen!Fic or Mitchell/Sheppard pre-Pairing), or even include the games that Pegasus natives play...  mostly whatever games are played in Atlantis, but can include games played offworld either by the Expedition members, or the Pegasus natives, or some combination of the two.

Other examples of stories I'm looking for can be found here in my bookmarks.

Acceptable games in stories can be mental games (e.g. 'Prime, Not Prime' or 'I Spy'), board games, card games, sports, charades, paintball, tag, hide & seek, or anything that you might have played & have seen in a story.

Pairings are not essential to this search; and, although, I have a penchant to read either Gen!Fics or McShep pairing, I am willing to read any pairing.  Please label pairings where applicable.

Thank you!

How about "Boredom is the Root of all Evil (or Lorne is a bitch)" by kHo
Sheppard and Lorne in a cell off-world pass the time playing games.

there's a bunch of fics that include prime/not-prime listed in this search from a few months ago: http://community.livejournal.com/sgagenrefinders/637669.html, though this AU one isn't on there: I Believe in Wishful Thinking (http://pentapus.livejournal.com/69202.html) by pentapus (McShep)

Second this - it's a great story, and the game is an excellent part of the plot.

Does competitive hugging count as a game? If yes, check out Friendly Competition (http://community.livejournal.com/sga_flashfic/541904.html) by [livejournal.com profile] siegeofangels

You're welcome! I'm not nearly as organized as the awesome [livejournal.com profile] danceswithgary, so it's mostly the brain (*imagine slow computer start-up sounds here*) and then poking through the stories on the thumbdrive and sometimes referring to Google if the thumbdrive didn't yield a story I was sure it should.

there's that hula hoop competition

That's funny because was just chatting with [livejournal.com profile] skaredykat about that a little while ago. I've detailed my methodical madness here.
