'Helping Out' McShep

Hi, all!  So, I was wondering: are there McShep stories where one partner is in the relationship because he believes the other needs it?  Stories like Tango, where John knows that sex gives McKay the brilliant ideas that save them all, or Crysothemis's Fix, where John becomes addicted to an alien device, and McKay is helping... cure him.  With the sex.

Basically I'm looking for stories where one partner is in it for the other partner's own good; and where one or both partners do not expect to become emotionally involved. 

Of course, they eventually do, right?  ;)

Rodney's never really been into that before, but he likes John and (ahem, oh so selflessly) worries that there isn't anyone on Atlantis with a matching kink for John, so he's willing to help out.
