Reverse Trope McShep

Hello! I'm looking for a reverse on a common trope. Where John has always been gay but falls for always-a-girl!Meredith anyway. Or the other way around is great, too; where Rodney has always been gay but falls for always-a-girl!John. Use of plot devices like aphrodisiacs, genderswapping (into a guy), transgender, and AMTDI is great. Special kudos if they're not really comfortable with het sex at first, and for kinks like anal play (for either partner) and pegging, although if one is genderswapped and all the sex is slash then I will be just peachy, too. Any rating, side pairing,  or kink except BDSM and D/s are fine, but please only relatively happy endings. Thank you!

Hmmmm, I think in this one John has been mostly gay up until meeting always-a-girl!Rodney and falling for her. The Lally'verse series does cut back and forth though, so I'll have to check which story exactly reveals this particular background.
