Looking for any fics that have John interacting with his family (mother, father, brother).  Pre-series or not, just anything that involves John and his family.  Oh, and it would be awesome if they were protective of John for one reason or another.  Any ideas?  Thanks in advance!

"The Fall of the House of Sheppard" by Martha (http://sgabigbang.talkoncorners.net/?view=fic&id=33) is an AU take on John's family. It's a classic gothic horror story set at the Sheppard estate and imagines the family as haunted by (literal) ghosts and horrible secrets. It's a really great story if you like ghost tales and I thought this view of the Sheppards was fascinating. Though warnings-wise, there is sexual violence as well as just plain violence.
