'DADT' or outright homophobia causes problems in Pegasus?

So I've been reading a lot of AMTDI stories, and slash stories, and one of the things I've noticed is that most people portray Teyla and Ronan having a 'Dude, your galaxy is weird' reaction to DADT and/or homophobia, so it got me thinking.

I'd like to see a story where the open-minded Pegasus natives either encounter homophobia during a meet-and-greet with the Lanteans (doesn't have to be Sheppard's team) or get DADT explained to them, and take it badly; either it prevents trade relations, or outright violence breaks out over it. I'm very flexible about pairings and I don't squick easily, so all other elements to the story would be fine.

Okay, so it's a minor part in like, the forth or fifth story (or sixth or seventh if you count the retelling from the other's POV) in the series; but there is a small part concerning DADT that has a huge impact on John & his native hottie in the Hunting Parties series by victoria custer. You can find her stuff over at the Watergate site. Read the warnings, though; b/c the series starts off w/some borderline stuff.

But the part about DADT is awesome. ONe of the other scientists takes a page from Rodney's book & makes his minions cry! It's funny as hell.
