I have been reading SGA fic for about a year and in the beginning I remember seeing a lot of references to Doctor Who, but, being of a not British nationality, I had no Idea what was going on. Now I have seen the entirety of the modern series and have started on the classic, I don't remember any of them.

Basically I am looking for any fic with a reference to Doctor Who or any of its spinoffs, or crossovers would be fine as well.

An example of what I am looking for is Xela's Children of Lantean Design (sgabigbang.talkoncorners.net/?view=fic&id=50) where Rodney asks the children which Baker they prefer, and one responded "Eccleston" (you have no idea how much time I spent trying to figure out what that meant)

Short one-shots (less than 2,000 words):

"(Un)Earthly Children" (http://community.livejournal.com/mizzds_works/3336.html) by [livejournal.com profile] mizz_destiny (Gen!Fic)

"5 of x Instances Where Rodney McKay Declined an Opportunity" (http://ladyyueh.livejournal.com/44881.html) by [livejournal.com profile] ladyyueh (slight McShep, but pretty much Gen!Fic)

All of these are crossovers to some degree.

The Photographs Series (http://losyark.livejournal.com/255437.html) is a multifandom crossover: SGA-based, but with DW, Smallville or maybe just DC Comics, X-Men, Harry Potter, Angel. It's a remix of “Photographs” by AsTheBlackRoseWilts, which is linked in the header. 10k, give or take; gen, I think.

Dal Sengo (http://rogue-planet.livejournal.com/32889.html) and its sequel DS al Coda (http://rogue-planet.livejournal.com/33183.html) are again SGA-based but are about a crossover with DW. About 2500 words each; McShep.

And I wrote a crossover romance: Displacement (http://michelel72.livejournal.com/49511.html), Rodney/Donna, as G-rated as a romance can possibly be. 24k.

Here's one where John visits an alternate Atlantis and he and the Rodney there talk about Doctor Who, Tied Up Inside (http://community.livejournal.com/mcshep_match/41720.html) by [livejournal.com profile] gblvr:

Rodney followed John into his quarters; he had a laptop and dvds in one hand, and he carried a travel mug of coffee in the other. He put everything down on the desk and continued speaking. "I mean, yes, the new Doctor Who is hot and all, but have you seen her companions?"

"Wait -- did you say her? You guys have a female Doctor?"

Self-Pimping: "Stricken" on BigBang is a fusion with Torchwood, set in the Gifts!AU by Leah and myself. (There's a link to the first two stories in the series in the author's notes. Those are by Leah and Springwoof.)

http://sgabigbang.talkoncorners.net/?view=fic&id=71

And "Like a Dream in the Morning," a dark!fic written by Leah. Non-permanent character death, fusion with Torchwood.

I hope you like!

Sorry! Should have mentionned...

The non-character death is John's, and that story is McShep.
Ianto and Jack are in 'Stricken' and in love (kinda). If you're looking for a Ianto story, I wrote this:
http://www.wraithbait.com/viewstory.php?sid=15675
which is set in the same 'verse as 'Stricken,' but is Ianto/Lorne.

Good? Yes?

You might want to check these out too: Top 5 SG/Dr Who/Torchwood crossovers/fusions - slash, gen, het (http://community.livejournal.com/sgversetop5/3437.html) at [livejournal.com profile] sgversetop5. Some are already mentioned above but some not yet; the ones on this list that I've read were all really good.

Does Fic!Video count? If so, [livejournal.com profile] chayiana did a neat SGA/Dr. Who crossover in the Black & White Silent Film style: "The Lost Button" (http://chayiana.livejournal.com/26808.html) - there's the option to download or stream the video on this link...definitely worth at least one viewing.

The Great Doctor McKay

http://me-ya-ri.livejournal.com/194106.html

In which Rodney gets trapped on a planet, gets a greatcoat, makes himself a sonic screwdriver and think himself very much like the doctor. Minor McShep.

And

Everybody Loves Ianto

http://archiveofourown.org/works/41701?view_adult=true

In which Ianto goes to Atlantis and everyone gets along with him. Except John, who's jealous because he thinks Ianto is flirting with Rodney. McShep

It's almost a year later, but...I found this one while looking for a story for something else & remembered your search. :D

"Fudging" (http://community.livejournal.com/sga_flashfic/592607.html) by [livejournal.com profile] hyperfocused -- McShep pairing. Hint: It's the date & the cake... (Not to mention someone very talented provided pictorial inspiration for the story) ;)
