I'm biting here... Is 'meda' an organization or is it supposed to be 'media'? If an organization, which one? ...my mind is drawing blanks other than some kind of Economic Development Association.

Not quite what you asked for but you might like it anyway (if you hadn't already read it): Far Far Away (http://archiveofourown.org/works/63616) by astolat, crossover with American Idol. Adam Lambert comes to Atlantis to perform and maybe inadvertently part declassifies the SGC by tweeting "see ya in two wks :) going to sing in another galxay!!! to more than two hundred thousand people"...
