I'm feeling a real hankering for Rodney getting the respect he deserves from his non-Stargate peers.

I figure after disappearing from the academic community Rodney isn't that well respected or known anymore. I want fics where he goes to a conference/lab/meets someone on the street and shows his awesomeness until the person/s he meets has to respect him. Awesomeness can be both science awesome or new soldier awesome.

Also welcome is jealousy over John as escort or post disclosure sucking up.

I prefer Slash but Gen is ok, as is Het so long as it's not really the focus.

I'm really glad she added it too because I've wanted to read a story with awesome!Rodney showing up his collegues (preferably with a gun as well as the power of his mind) ever since I saw Brain Storm and Brights Lights and Shadows not only gave me that, but is also an amazing fic in it's own right. Really well done, and I'd love to read another one from either Dr Samuel or someone else's point of view, if you ever feel like writing one.
