I'm looking for any really unusual SGA crossovers/fusions. The ones that mix genres, settings, or fandoms that don't seem to have anything remotely in common with SGA. Any stories where you first thought there is no possible way it could work, but the writing was so good that it did. The weirder the better. I do prefer McShep but that is not an absolute requirement. Thanks in advance for your help.

Depending on how meta and/or cracky and/or fourth-wall-breaking you want to get, you may want to check out some of Eildon Rhymer's SGA stories. For example, Run John Run! (http://www.rhymer.org.uk/sga/seejohnrun/hellorodney.htm) are sort of, um, musings on SGA potentially-slash whumping fic as inappropriately told to small children during a fictional library storytime hour. You should have a look at The People You Meet (http://mandysbitch.livejournal.com/236208.html") by mandysbitch. It is a fantastic SGA/OZ crossover. That's OZ, as in the HBO prison drama, not Wizard of Oz. The pairing is Rodney McKay/Chris Keller, and when I first saw that it was a bit of a head-scratcher, but the author totally makes it work. If you're unfamiliar with OZ, then you should know that Chris Keller is a thief, a con-man, and occasionally a killer. He's badass and very charming, and he's totally won over by Rodney in this story.

I came back to this request to highly(!!) rec skinscript's SGA/Queer As Folk crossover Thanks for the Memories, but I see she already linked it above. The primary pairing is McKay/Kinney with a probable McShep relationship developing by the end of the fic, & it plays a lot with not-terribly-extreme-but-OMG-hardcore-hot BDSM. I think this fic is hotter'n the hinges of Hell!
