Atlantis in the Milky Way

Can you-all think of any fic written before the end of S5 aired where Atlantis returned to the Milky Way Galaxy in general, or to Earth in particular? I can't recall any, but my reading is heavily slanted toward McShep. Is there any such thing in the Weir/Sheppard end of the fandom? In the gen on fanfiction.net?

Also, can you think of any fic (written pre-finale) where Carson sat in the Chair and flew Atlantis?

There's Absolute Corruption - Terra Atlantis (http://seikaitsukimizu.livejournal.com/145392.html) by seikaitsukimizu, in which John heads out to Pegasus to pick up and bring back Atlantis for his semi-shunned/formerly traitorous boyfriend Rodney... It was written in early 2008, and is a sequel to hir SG-1 Absolute Power AU Absolute Corruption (http://community.livejournal.com/mckay_sheppard/1043974.html).

Interesting that this is the only bona fide Atlantis-flies-to-Earth story people have found, and it's an AU where they don't know about the Wraith or have any contact with Pegasus natives.

Yes, sorry that people haven't found more! I would have liked to read them... This one, it's a few (Earth-natives only) SGA characters overlaid on an SG-1 plot (which it does explicitly say it is), but I would have liked to have seen a little of what John et al found in that version of Pegasus. And I had the very vaguest thought that I might have maaaybe read something somewhere that had Beckett either fly the city or do something else impressive in the control chair pre-end-S5, but then wasn't sure/it seemed too vague to try to hunt down. :(

I looked through my atlantis on earth tags, and they tend more toward the people of Atlantis gathering rather than the city being physically present.

I just got around to (re)-reading that story, and I don't get that Atlantis, thc city, is on Earth at all. It reads to me that they were ordered back to Earth and Lorne blew up the city rather than bring it.
