McShep? e.g. McKay/Sheppard first time?

Hi there! I'm new to this comm and new to the fandom in general. Just yesterday I was treated to the first episodes of SGA. I've seen about six episodes thus far, but the McShep bug bit me!

I glanced around some McShep comms, but it's hard to find the really good stuff...and the great particular fic I crave. Basically, I'm looking for first-time, relationship building type fic. I'm new to them, so I want them to be new too! I would love to see some well-written, non-AU friendship-to-something more stories with a decent amount of angst and humor.

• Can anyone help? Rec some great stuff to me!

Also, for a specific rec, how about Slow Road to Enlightenment (http://mmmchelle.livejournal.com/250011.html) by mmmchelle; it's a McShep almost-relationship through Rodney's eyes from mid-season 2 through most of season 3. Contains spoilers from season 2 "Conversion" to season 3 "Sunday", you might want to catch up with the show before you read it, but it's a) almost brand spankin' new, and b) an excellent story. And keeps very close to canon. Good reading!

That message means that the post is friends-locked, meaning that the owner needs to friend you to grant you access. I dunno what mmmchelle's friending policy is, but I guess asking her about it might be a way to go. Also, sorry, the fic wasn't f-locked when I read originally read/recced it, I don't think.

mmmchelle locked her LJ and is currently transferring her fic to chellefic. She doesn't have all her fic up yet, but I think if you ask for a specific fic, she'll put it up. She's also got a website here (http://chelle.slashcity.org/) which has most (all?) of her fic.
