Rodney Centric Sports AUs

It may be the Olympics, but I've set myself on a quest for Sports AUs with Rodney McKay as a lead. Actually, it doesn't have to be an AU, just Rodney and Sports.

Now, I dug a call for John Centric Sports AUs up from about a year ago:

So I've read those (except for Ratcreature's delicious links which I just could not get to filter for SGA) but as you can tell, it's been a while since a Sports AU search has been done. I'm hoping there are more out there.

Hockey Night in Atlantis, by canadian_snoopy, is an absolute *must read* in this category if you've not already read it. While you might not find it as exciting as watching the Olympic hockey tournament, it's far less nerve-wracking, and is a real delight from beginning to end!

Do your Rodney and Sports criteria include Rodney as a sports commentator? If so, there's trinityofone's Bottom of the Ninth (http://trinityofone.livejournal.com/120182.html), in which John is a baseball player and Rodney the commentator (McShep, and not specifically offered in any of the previous searches you linked to, it looks like).

I've been particularly looking for ones were Rodney is an athlete or former athlete, but I really like passionate about the game Rodney came across in this one.

Did you happen to see this earlier search: Winter Sports (http://community.livejournal.com/sgagenrefinders/581005.html)? I don't know how many of them are Rodney-centric, but I think there might be a story or two on there not listed in the links you provided of earlier sports searches.
