McShep - Hurt with FORCED Comfort -

Hi,
I have a request. I think it's new, if it isn't let me know.

I'm looking for fic.s where John (preferably) or even Rodney are hurt and the other person has to force themselves on them; their cure, treatment or whatever it is they have, to make the other person better in order to heal them. [ LONG sentence, but get the point? <-D *Worried!*]

Like if John were hurt, Rodney has to force John to lie down, be still, and accept whatever will make him better. Comforting and soothing him along the way, letting him know it's okay, or whatever. ~Shrug!~

McShep of course, which is the main point. (Of course if you have anything that isn't McShep that's so good you HAVE to post it, I'll take that also. )

I LOVED this one. I have some experience with seizures so it really hit home. I LOVE the fact that Rodney can cure John just by touching him, being near him. :-)
I wish it were that simple in real life to cure seizures. :-( *SNIFF!* *chuckle* :-)
I especially like the end, it was so original! and so Rodney! saying he is bad on dates and stuff! :-D

I liked I think, "That Pon Farr Thing" and "High as Heaven" along with the sequel the best.
Especially the first one. That one hit home. I know someone who has seizures, it'd be nice if it was possible to stop them just by holding them. :-( :-)
Kinda fed my need for simple solutions to real life problems. *chuckle* :-)

The "Catalyst" one was good too. It was interesting, sounded a bit like MS to me. *Shrug!* But I don't know (other then what I've read).

Yeah, none of the answers that were given here were what I was looking for really, except for a few. *shrug!*
But they all kept the wolf from the door so to speak. So I'm more then satisfied now. :-)

I was just so perfect I HAD to say something immediately :-D

I LOVED how Rodney was all squirmy and didn't (understandably) want to be helped (his shoulder righted). and how Sheppard just comforted him and took control, doing what had to be done anyway. (Especially how he distracted Rodney not letting him look. then how he finished, by wrapping Rodney's arm in a sling, telling him it was alright and all done. :-D )
I don't know WHY but I just go for that kind of stuff.

Oh, good!!!! So glad you liked it! That was one of my favorite parts of that whole five things fic. While it's pretty easy to see Sheppard avoiding help/comfort (frankly, the only way I could see him willingly accept it is if he was completely paralyzed and had no choice), Rodney as a character can, at times, be very demanding of help and comfort. So I liked doing the "Hey, let me help you." "No, no, I'm fine. Go away now." thing.

I was wondering, would you be willing to write a bit longer version of the "After the Athosians go missing" from the story, "Five Times the Team Depended on Each Other" STYLE of story? ... you know something where First Rodney is hurt, and then John is hurt, and together they have to take care of each other, patch each others wounds up, even though they don't want them patched, much less mess with it? <:-D Also, would you be willing to possibly write a story that has the team, but mainly Either John and Rodney, or Rodney and Carson; living and interacting in the real world? :-D Well, THANK YOU SO MUCH for all you've posted here, and all you've written! :-D *DROOLS!* lol! :-D It was SO GOOD!
