I only remember the one in which Rodney hands in his resignation after the events in "Inferno" as he decides he's had enough of never being thanked for his efforts. I loved it. Am having a heck of a time tracking it down, though... And of course, it's by the talented lavvyan: Not Quite an Explosion (http://lavvyan.livejournal.com/47982.html).

This is one of my absolute favorite fics. It's not exactly what you requested in that Rodney has a breakdown after Doranda but it's not immmediate. It's a couple of months after and he's completely fed up and the Author of this fic writes on of the most perfect speeches for him. Even if it's not exactly what you're looking for, you should read it. I'm going to go read it myself right now.
