Been out of the fandom for a while and wanna know if there has been any good fic that has caught your eye that you were blown away by.I am talking any genre or couple(not picky )just fic that you loved!!!Any takers? Happy New Year!!

Where to start... I'm seconding the recs for Sacrificial Mage and Whipping boy, most def. My other favorite from Big Bang is The Magical Number Seven (http://sgabigbang.talkoncorners.net/?view=fic&id=99) by general_jinjur, which is a fun, plotty what-if scenario following This Mortal Coil and Tabula Rasa. Gen, I think. I also loved Never Quite What You Expect (http://community.livejournal.com/sga_santa/242996.html) by propinquitine (a fic full of cliches turned inside out and upside down; McShep) and Devil and the Deep Blue Sea (http://community.livejournal.com/sga_santa/220470.html) by friendshipper (about John dealing with his best friend suddenly being in a relationship. Also, zombies!; McKeller). Lullabies in a Minor Key (http://penknife.livejournal.com/431018.html) by penknife is about Rodney and Jeannie growing up.
