Alternate ending to 'Duet'

Hi all.

I've just re-watched 'Duet' and was wondering if there were any stories out there that dealt with what might have happened if McKay and Cadman hadn't been able to split and continued living.

Any pairing is fine, but preferably a good long fic that is set over many years. Does this exit?

Letting Go (http://community.livejournal.com/mckay_sheppard/696005.html) (found via sga_episodefic) is an AU in which Cadman wasn't extracted and didn't survive ... officially, but Rodney's not so sure about that last part. McShep, rated "erotic", and starts out explicit.
