I read a fic awhile back that was about John's relationship with an OFC. Are there any more like that?

There's Becoming Connor Davids at Wraithbait. I've never read it but it's an John/OC slash.

Only that OC is an OMC. I do think that bears pointing out in this case. ;)

Most people who write John/OFC post their stories at fanfiction.net. You should head over there and choose Character A: John Sheppard, Genre: Romance in the drop-down menu and you'll have loads of reading material.

John has a brief relationship w/ a OFC in A Beautiful Lifetime (http://intimations.org/fanfic/stargate/lifetime_event.html), but it ends up McShep.
