There's another good rant by Rodney (with back-up from John) to the new Marines in Angles Thus and So (http://community.livejournal.com/i_defeated_sga/9932.html) by copperbadge, where Rodney says "... Don't bother my scientists, don't harass my scientists, don't get in their way, don't be rude to them. That's my job. ..."

There is one fic where it's basically a Ground Hog day fic and each time they start over McKay tells off these scientists in a meeting first thing and each day it's different. I laughed my ass off through most of those berating sessions. I wish I could find it for you but I can't find it to save my life.

I adore Rodney's long rant to John in the coda to fiercelydreamed's story Unidentified. The coda is here (http://fiercelydreamed.livejournal.com/9218.html).

There's a link to the main story, Unidentified, at the beginning of that post. It's a brilliant story but if you can't wait to read the rant, what you need to know is that it's an earthside AU; Pilot!John and physicist!Rodney have been friends since college; Rodney suddenly loses his memory (why and how and what happens next are the core of the story.) He rediscovers his love of music and turns to composing instead of trying to reconstruct his physics career. The coda is the night his first work debuts, a year later.
