Protective Ronon & Realistic HC Aftermath

Hi everyone. I'm looking for three types of Mckay whump fics I'm having trouble weeding out.

1. Protective Ronon - basically I want fics where Mckay is hurt and Ronon is the one in the uber protective role (standing constant guard, escorting him everywhere, playing the confidant). It doesn't have to be a main theme of the fic but just really obvious that he's the protector more than anyone else.

2. Fics where Sheppard (under some kind of influence, coerscion or by accident) hurts Rodney in a big way (shot, stabbed, etcetera) and it's not all roses afterwards. I've read a lot of fics where Sheppard for example, rapes him and Rodney just magically realises during the rape that he doesn't mind and everything's okay 300 words later with lots of smut. Not those kinds of fics. On that note, if there are rape stories where an OC does the dirty work that keeps the focus of him actually being hurt by the experience instead of having a big gay epiphany through a logically traumatic event - I'd love it if you could rec them.

3. I don't know if this even exists but I'd love a fic where for whatever reason, the people on Atlantis are being mean to Rodney, but he finds a world where he's accepted and somehow manages to stay there (like he might hide or push the last team member through the stargate and remove the DHD crystals after, whatever). Then Atlantis realises what they've lost and someone goes to get him back.

Gen, McShep and McDex are all awesome.

Pet Peeves - Established Relationship, AU's (for this), multiple partners, male characters being written with the voice of a 12 year old girl.

Loves - Long fics, breakdowns, team bondage, a Mckay with backbone/fighting back, snark.

I think maybe you meant team "bonding"? Or are you really looking for kinky bondage stories starring Team Sheppard? (I personally like it if both those things are all bundled up in one happy package!)

Lol! Definitely bonding. I like my kinky bondage reserved for 2 players. But hey, if the fic has other players watching kinky bondage in a public place on an alien world under threat of torture or ending trade agreements - I wouldn't mind.

Long & moderately complicated as Rodney deals with the aftermath attack by an OCC - its McShep but takes a while to get there. Its got some good Heightmeyer too.

Thanks! I have read this one and it's down as one of the few tolerable fics dealing with rape. Even though it does go into physical contact too quickly for my liking.

(It's more the whole team that hurts him but Sheppard has the most influence on him. McShep and most of the story tells on how they all learn how to cope with what they did. Not too short, not too long )

I know you listed AU's as a pet peeve but if that does not apply to the mensa verse I would rec: "Only for You" by Valderys for #3. Rodney goes to Rod's universe cause he thinks everyone likes Rod more than him. John goes and gets him. It's on the Mensa AU fic exchange on livejournal

Oh, thankyou. Actually this is okay with me because it kind of ties in with the normal universe. I'll definitely be giving this a read. I just didn't want to be ending up reading about firemen and prison cells. Which - for my requests - would be kinda cliche.
