I'm looking for any stories where someone who knows nothing about Rodney recognises that he is a combat veteran. The closest I've found is synecdochic's Freedom's Just Another Word for Nothing Left to Lose

Do you mean like someone on Earth recognizes that Rodney has to have been doing stuff like what he did on Sheppard's team because as a civilian on an off-world team he runs around/shoots guns/etc? Or are you looking for stories where he has actual in-the-military experience?

The stuff he did on the team. He's had more combat experience than some soldiers and I'm looking for stories where people recognise that from his behaviour.

This is an SGA/Criminal Minds crossover with a threesome between Sheppard, McKay and Reid. At the end Reid recognizes the military in Rodney- in a really meaningful way.
