Transformation fics

I'm about to wander off to storyfinders to look for a specific fic, but while I was searching the tags here I came across a request from June that no one responded to:

kumori_hisaki was looking for transformation fic - specifically McShep where one or the other is unaware of the transformation. That sounded interesting... but sadly, no responses.

So, does anyone know of transformation fics where either the human either adopts the transformed by accident, or is unaware the transformed kept their human intelligence? The original searcher was looking for secrets revealed, which is always fun, but I'm not that picky.

(okay, since I doubt I've explained well - think "Little Bear" (a lovely story) but instead of John waking up with no memory and craving toothpaste, he remembers everything that happened)

The only one I can think of is The Crate (http://web.archive.org/web/20070111054524/http://rosemending.livejournal.com/121078.html). It's a Conversion story though, probably not what you want.

Involuntary Dog is actually the story that started my search, so not exactly what I was looking for.
