McShep Friends with Benefits/Last to know

This request is inspired by Every Day in Every Way by velocitygrass, which is my favorite SGA Big Bang story ever so far, and now available as a podfic!

I'm looking for stories that have one or both of the following:

1. John and Rodney become 'friends with benefits' and this develops into love and an actual relationship.

2. John and Rodney are the last to know that they are in a relationship, but it's clear to everyone else that they either want each other badly or are in love.


I prefer long fics, any rating is fine. No WIPs unless they are great and regularly updated. I prefer fics that are on LJ, DW, or an author's own website over wraithbait or ff.net. If you know of any podfics like this, I'd appreciate that, especially.

I have a couple of questions:

--What's your minimum word count for long fics?
--Does that mean absolutely no links to either Wraithbait or FF.net?

For #1, there's:
Oasis by blueraccoon - it's almost 40,000 words & involves a bit of Monty Python/Princess Bride-esque main character death (meaning they're only mostly dead).
Teenage Kicks (http://www.goldenmaze.com/teenagekicks.htm) by rheanna27 - it's a little over 25,000 words & involves time-travel/de-aging.


For #2, there's:

Thank you so much for all of these.

I'd say 20K+ is on the short end of long for me. :)

I have an aversion to ff.net so I probably won't read anything there, but I will read from wraithbait if it's a super fantastic fic. :)
