Debilitating Illness Fics?

Hi all,

First post here (yay! \o/)

Okay, i have read through like everything on this comm and I'm fairly (not 100%, but pretty darned close) certain that this hasn't been requested before, so apologies if it has!

I'm interested to know if anyone at all knows whether or not there are any fics with Rodney suffering from a debilitating illness.

by debilitating this could mean cancer, or just something he's picked up that requires intensive treatment and/or a lengthy hospitalisation (infirmary, convalescence), with a pointed emphasis on the fact that he doesn't die. Please guys? Death fics make me too weepy.

Aftermaths of the above request would make this lurker extremely happy too but isn't necessarily mandatory. I'm pretty liberal over the rest of the details(long, short, action, sweet, squicky, anything really), so there's not much I won't like.

I'm not allergic to Gen, McShep, and McBeck. Heavy on the comfort if possible.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions. I'm not sure there will be any, so I may just have to write my own to satisfy the hard request!
