I am in a mood and could do with some fic-shaped fixing. Help a girl out?

I'm looking for McShep, any ol' rating will do, with Sheppard being protective/being Rodney's minder for whatever reason. Rescuing him from aliens after his brain, bringing him snacks when he's in the labs too long, being all "yes hi I am the trophy wife, suck it" to seethingly jealous Earth colleagues. Basically anything in which John is an awesome boyfriend/friend/whatever/thing.

This is pretty general but hopefully that means I'll get LOTS AND LOTS of recs, right? ...right? :D :D

in case you fear ff.net as much as I do.

What's wrong with FF.net?
Is there a reason I shouldn't post links to it?

No no, I didn't mean to suggest you not post the links! My computer really dislikes ff.net. I assume it's all the ads and stuff, that and I have an old slow computer. I dislike the site as well (visually, the layout and everything), but basically it comes down to my crappy computer and internet connection. So I avoid it like the plague. I just figured I'd post some alternative links in case anyone has similar problems.

Ok, no problem! I don't mind FF.net but it's certainly not perfect - I guess I'm just used to it! I was worried there was something harmful there, like a virus, or accessibility issues. I'll try to post alternate links in the future when possible.

Thanks! :)

Some people finds it very difficult to browse and the search engines makes it difficult to to whittle down what you want to read. Also the quality control is minimal and considering the sheer number of fics posted it's pretty tricky to find the good ones

But if somebody does search the good ones for me I am happy to read stuff from it

Thanks for the feedback. I have lots of authors pages on Favourites from FF.net, so it's faster and easier for me to find and rec fics that way! :)

I have issues with FF.net. I just can't read a fic there, I think there's something about the formatting. Same thing with WraithBait, although I don't find it quite as irritable, and can read fics there. Just, prefer not to. But on FF.net? No.

Oh, thank you! It's not that I fear it so much as that there's something in the formatting (or maybe something with my computer and the formatting) over there that makes everything on the page come out centered, instead of left-justified--and I just cannot read fic like that.
