John and his father

Hi all!  I'm looking for John and his father fics- either AU (prior to Outcast) or based on the information given in Outcast.  I'm looking for anything that heavily involves their relationship be it 1) why John didn't send a letter to his father in season 1, 2) John's childhood, 3) a reconcilliation between them or 4) something else entirely.  I know with another character this might be a broad request, but I haven't seen many fics with John and his father as the focus.

Thanks! I'd actually looked there, but found a lot of Dave fics and not so many father fics. I'm hoping someone out there has a list or at least an interest in that relationship specifically.

I know of two that I enjoyed:

Glass Houses (http://kitt.livejournal.com/682937.html) by MistoKitt -- Pre-Outcast, so it's not canon accurate. You didn't mention pairings, so this is McShep, and it's all about John and his Dad. And Rodney.

Pocket Full of Kryptonite (http://sgabigbang.talkoncorners.net/index.php?view=fic&id=35) by margarks -- Another telling of Outcast, with Rodney going with John to his father's funeral instead of Ronon, and John finding out that his father wasn't his biological father. Lots of daddy issues! And again, McShep.

I have a self-pimp: Five Four Three Two One (Zero), which is John's childhood/growing up, sandwiched with McShep, written pre-Outcast. (I wanted John to have parents who loved him, but when I wrote them, they turned out... to be the kinds of parents who'd have a kid like John @.@)

In the long series What Might Have Been (http://keiramarcos.com/what-might-have-been-series-atlantis-au/) by keiramarcos John's father shows up in the second part and is then present throughout the series. It's an au, and Sheppard sr is a Navy officer unlike canon, but it deals with the issues between them (not all at once), apart from just being an awesome read.
