Earth-based religion

Hey, can you help me find fics where religions from Earth play some sort of role?  I'm not looking for Pegasus religions, just Earth-based.  AUs are fine; gen, slash and het are fine, though please warn for pairings.

Is there a chaplain on Atlantis who gets more than one passing mention?  Does someone's religion or issues with religion affect their decision making?  Does Elizabeth or somebody get stuck explaining Earth religion in more detail to Teyla?

I am not looking for fics that only qualify because: there is a single passing mention of a chaplain; Rodney huffs at somebody's religion in Pegasus and compares it to Scientology, or something; someone in a homosexual relationship makes passing mention of getting thrown out of their church.

I am looking for fics like that one where it turns out that the new chaplain is Kavanagh's former brother-in-law, or the one by mss_porcupine where Dr. Yoni Safir sets Elizabeth straight on why an Atlantis-wide Seder wouldn't work.  Or, you know, that one where John's a priest, and then he meets Rodney (isn't that an entire sub-genre by this point?).

I've got one of those! Rodney is a Jesuit priest who is in disgrace and exiled to an island in Alaska (I think - I may just have to go and re-read it!). He, of course, meets John Sheppard there. Rodney has a lot of angst to deal with, quite apart from the naughty mobster-types who are out to get him because of his Physics.

I hope you enjoy it - Atlantis pops up right at the very end...!
