I like Lorne, and I don't want to see him as a villian, but he really was kind of a douche to Rodney during "Runner."   I don't even think Rodney was being especially arrogant or annoying during that episode; he was just being geeky and excessively honest and right, as usual.  Sooo, I'd like to see a fic where Lorne gets called on being a jerk to Rodney and maybe learns to appreciate just why John likes Rodney (not just tolerates him).

And Lorne really was a jerk in that episode!  I noticed he was still taking cover when he jerked Rodney up into a standing position to try to talk to Ford, and they didn't even know if it actually was Ford they were stalking -- annoyance giving into a potentially fatal impulse!  So, yeah, I'd like him to realize he was tool, even if he doesn't apologize to Rodney; any fic like that out there?

Thanks for any recs!

There's a scene to that effect within Resilience (http://www.thisiskatya.com/tira_nog/resilience.html) (McShep, lengthy, post-Trinity issues). Grey's "Runner" tag Breakdown (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2540127/1/Breakdown) (gen, tag, interpersonal discord) also includes reference, with Lorne not so much realizing he was a jerk as considering that there might be more to McKay than he first assumed.
