It depends on if you want a long continous story like Written by the Victors by Speranza or multi-chaptered like Never the Nights by Laavyan or the World According to Rover by Rina and Orithain. The last two are on wraithbat. Speranza's site is Trickste.org/speranza/cesper/atlantis. Another ever growing one is Sentience by Tarlan also on Wraithbait. You might also want to look at Keiramacros's other stories like Sentinels of Atlantis which is getting longer

If you'd like a long, AU post-Trinity story (with some fairly dark stuff in there--but it didn't hit my aughhh-too-much button), you might try Three Fates (http://www.eternalvox.net/auburn/threefates.html), by auburn and eretria. It's well-written, cunningly plotted, and I lost most of a weekend reading it a while back.

Do you know the "Geeks and Goons"-series by Likethekoschka?

And this might help too, to find a long story that matches your taste:

The SGA Big Bang has stories around the 50k mark, and a few have sequels.

That's a link for all stories with McKay/Sheppard, with apologies for the lack of pretty links. I'm a Luddite.

Self-pimping, yo. :)

Using my other name of Leah, I've written several long fics:

Balcony Sessions (http://www.wraithbait.com/viewstory.php?sid=9) which is really several stories collected as chapters of a single fic.

Most of my Scruffy AI Series (http://www.wraithbait.com/viewseries.php?seriesid=114) are at least 40,000 words (mine start at the third story when you scroll down).

And everything I've written with [livejournal.com profile] springwoof can be found either here (http://www.wraithbait.com/viewuser.php?uid=1191) on wraithbait.com or at our shared [livejournal.com profile] leahwoof live journal (excluding the 'leah writing alone' tag). All three of these collaborative stories are quite long. Specifically, they're "The Body Holographic", "Aegis" and "Enthrall".

I hope you enjoy them. :D

The longest McShep series that I have read (so far) has 10 stories in it & is clocking in at well over 865,000 words total for the series (might even be hitting close to if not over 1 million words, as the count I have is for the first 9 stories). WARNING: BDSM. Link for the "A Life Less Ordinary" series index by [livejournal.com profile] puddle_of_goo: http://puddle-of-goo.livejournal.com/23730.html .
