Beauty and the Beast retellings

I'm looking for retellings of Beauty and the Beast, particularly ones where, at the end of the story, the Beast character does not change form (ie, does not return to human).

Pairing, characters, length don't matter, crossovers with SG1 are fine. Basically, I'm just looking for that sort of plot.

(This request arose from [a discussion] I had with dodificus which prompted my brain to tease me with the conviction that I have read (probably multiple) stories in SGA with this concept and yet I haven't found any of them in my bookmarks and my google skills have failed me :( And this whole thing is driving me batty. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated!)

It's been a long time since I listened to it, but from what I recall, I believe it fits your criteria.
